Manager Business Process Excellence – Record to Report EMEA Hub (m/f/x)

This function offers you the chance to work on one of ZEISS' key group programs and to drive harmonization and standardization of processes and structures that define the way how ZEISS will work for years to come.

Your Role

  • As a (Sub-) Project Manager for the Record to Report (R2R) stream, you will be an essential part of the international S/4HANA Roll In at Zeiss, shaping the future of one common ERP platform

  • You will take responsibility to achieve the best solution for ZEISS, balancing individual functional and segment needs by contributing to the R2R process

  • Together with the Senior Manager of your stream, you will take on a moderating role, understanding and mastering the individual processes, in order to moderate between the ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner

  • Together, you will steer and orchestrate necessary external consulting support within your workstream

  • In addition, you will exchange information with your fellow workstream teams to ensure best practice sharing and integration into related processes and report your results to the overall program management

  • You own the alignment of your workstream progress with the Senior Manager of your stream, ensure planning, implementation and improvement measures of your workstream and thus make a significant contribution to the overall project success

Your Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or a similar field of study

  • Proven experience driving projects in the area of R2R process excellence or in a similar performance improvement related environment, including the ability to translate accounting and controlling requirements into S/4HANA solutions

  • Deep understanding of End-to-End financial processes (General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Tax & Reporting)

  • Hands-on experience in coordinating Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap Workshops as well as driving process harmonization across multiple business units.

  • Experience with SAP ERP transformations is a big plus

  • Results-oriented, analytical and organizational skills paired with strong change communications skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans

  • A strong change management perspective

  • Fluent in English and German
