The Role

Addepar is seeking a high-energy, process-oriented Business Development Lead to act as a strategic architect for our next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth Fintech leader during a pivotal GTM evolution.

Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, you will not only lead a high-performing pod of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) but will also serve as a critical bridge across our meshed Account Executive and Account Management organizations. You will be responsible for defining the "new standard" of how prospecting integrates into a full-cycle sales motion, ensuring our BDR team remains the primary engine for net-new opportunity generation.

This role is ideal for a "Rising Star" who thrives on influence, data-driven coaching, and the challenge of aligning diverse sales functions under a unified growth strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • GTM Architecture: Partner with Sales and Strategy leadership to define and refine the workflows that connect prospecting efforts with our meshed AE/AM pods.
  • Operational Excellence: Act as a "Process Hawk" within Salesforce to establish and enforce the terminology, activity standards, and data rigor required for a world-class GTM engine.
  • Strategic Enablement: Serve as a linguistic and tactical bridge; you will empower BDRs to share their prospecting expertise with senior cross-functional partners to drive net-new business.
  • Pod Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and optimize a high-output pod of BDRs, taking direct ownership of their career development and pipeline contribution.
  • Data-Driven Culture: Obsess over metrics and dashboards to provide GTM leadership with a "Source of Truth" regarding territory health and prospecting efficiency.
Who You Are
  • 4-6+ years of experience in leading and managing large teams, high-growth SaaS BDR/SDR function at scale, with a proven track record as a top individual contributor followed by successful leadership or mentorship experience.
  •  The "Linguistic Bridge": You have a natural ability to translate complex prospecting tactics into strategic value for senior stakeholders and seasoned sales professionals.
  • Salesforce Power User: You don't just use CRM; you use it to coach. You are comfortable building your own reports and auditing data to find gaps in the sales cycle.
  • Influence without Authority: You have a demonstrated ability to influence peers and senior colleagues to adopt new processes and standards.
  • Fintech DNA: Experience in or a deep curiosity for wealth management, private banking, or complex financial services is highly preferred.
  • Builder Mindset: You are energized by the prospect of "rebuilding the engine" while it's running. You see organizational change as an opportunity to architect better outcomes.
