The Branch Manager safeguards the branch’s success and well-being, including sales growth, budgeting, gross margins, leading and developing the team, and managing all operational expenses. Other key areas of focus include safety, customer service, inventory levels, and the thoughtful resolution of personnel matters. You will assist outside salespersons in preparing quotes, maintaining all required literature, providing customer follow-up, and gathering sales leads. You will also schedule and follow up on deliveries, including pre-calling customers before scheduled deliveries. The Branch Manager manages resources mindfully and monitors fiscal performance compared to the budget. We look for someone to maintain the store in a clean and orderly manner and schedule staffing to ensure excellent customer service at all times.

  • Evaluate and monitor day-to-day activities of the branch to foster cost-effective operations and a safe, productive, and inclusive work environment.

  • Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with the team and internal departments regarding customer successes, customer challenges, new customer developments, and other customer-specific information.

  • Leads all branch personnel in accordance with company policies by hiring, training, inspiring, and guiding workflow. Provide performance feedback and meaningful development opportunities.

  • Accurately complete and submit all sales-related paperwork (e.g., shippers, invoices, cylinder audits, month-end reports, cash reconciliations, deposits, etc.) in a timely manner.

  • Participates in the preparation of market and competitor information as well as annual sales analysis and forecasts.

  • Works in alignment with all policies, procedures, and rules as prescribed by State, Federal, and the Company.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of prior demonstrated management or leadership experience in a customer facing environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally up to 125 lbs. with the aid of material handling equipment.

  • Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in the welding  or safety industry.

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales with proven success.

  • 1 year experience with SAP and Power BI.

  • 2 years of experience in sales and/or distribution or similar industrial products.
