Oversee and manage all aircraft maintenance operations for the corporate aviation department. Will ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, airworthiness, and reliability for company owned corporate aircraft, while leading a small team or working independently depending on the operation’s scope.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ensure full compliance with FAR Part 91 regulations and company policies.
Oversee and coordinate all aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and servicing.
Maintain aircraft in accordance with OEM manuals, FAA regulations, and industry best practices.
Develop and manage maintenance tracking programs (e.g., CAMP, Flightdocs, Traxxall).
Schedule and monitor maintenance activities to minimize aircraft downtime.
Serve as primary liaison with OEMs, MROs, vendors, FAA representatives, and parts suppliers.
Manage parts inventory, tooling, and equipment.
Maintain accurate and complete aircraft maintenance records and logbooks.
Respond to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations and coordinate timely resolution.
Lead or support audits, safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all maintenance personnel (if applicable) are trained and qualified.
Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.
Ensure the aircraft is always airworthy and flight-ready.
Assist in management and upkeep of hangar facility and equipment.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in corporate or general aviation maintenance.
Prior experience maintaining Part 91 corporate aircraft (e.g., Embraer, Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier, Cessna Citation, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, technical manuals, and maintenance programs.
Experience with maintenance tracking software (CAMP, Flightdocs, etc.).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
Ability to travel as needed and respond to unscheduled maintenance events
Desired:
Previous experience managing a maintenance department or team.
Type-specific training on Embraer Praetor 500/600 and/or Cessna Citation Encore.
Familiarity with IS-BAO or other safety management systems (SMS).
Inspection Authorization (IA).
