Manager, At-Home Palliative Care Strategy & Growth

QLD - Brisbane, CBD & Inner Suburbs Full time

Job Description:

Location: Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
Employment type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (38 hours per week)

At St Vincent’s Health Australia, we are shaping a better and fairer health and aged care system. Through our virtual and home-based division (SVVH), we operate with a start-up mindset — embracing innovation, human-centred design and bold thinking to deliver connected care wherever people call home.

As the At-Home Palliative Care Strategy & Growth Manager, you will lead the growth, evolution and national scaling of a specialist palliative care service delivered in the home.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a national growth strategy
  • Identifying market opportunities and driving commercial sustainability
  • Integrating virtual care and innovative service models
  • Strengthening partnerships across public, private and community healthcare
  • Establishing a nationally consistent operating model

You will play a pivotal role in enabling more Australians to choose to receive high-quality specialist palliative care at home — reducing avoidable hospital admissions and improving patient experience.

  • Healthcare experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups
  • Demonstrated success leading change, transformation and continuous service improvement

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health, health administration or related field
