About the Job:

 

The Red Hat Technology Consulting team is looking for a Managing Architect to join our EMEA Technology Services team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will manage a team of architects and consultants who focus on adoption of Red Hat’s technologies. As a Managing Architect, you'll need to demonstrate leadership and build on your own experience to inspire, enable, and develop your team members. You will be expected to collaborate with the EMEA Technology Consulting team. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Provide direction, coaching, and mentoring to increase your team's capabilities, develop their competencies, and ensure that goals and expectations are met 

  • Actively engage in defining and building the EMEA Technology Consulting strategy 

  • Participate in regional and global continuous process improvement initiatives 

  • Identify and prioritize engagement opportunities where the EMEA Technology team plays a key role in improving the customer experience and accelerating the adoption of Red Hat’s technologies 

  • Build and maintain relationships and establish trust with regional and cross-functional stakeholders 

  • Manage the collection, aggregation, interpretation, and reporting of organizational performance metrics to be used by management and operational leaders to guide strategic business decisions 

  • Hire and maintain the best talent for Consulting 

  • Remove internal and external blockers for team 

  • Manage escalations to ensure delivery of positive customer experience

  • Close collaboration with the EMEA Technology Managers and with the local Technology manager.

 

What you will bring:

  • Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level

  • Proven experience in a technical role as architect with Red Hat products like OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible or OpenStack

  • Ability to identify potential, develop people, and motivate and build a team 

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, inspiring, and time management skills 

  • Ability to anticipate needs and provide clarity on expectations 

  • Solutions-oriented mindset; ability to exercise good professional judgment

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with associates from diverse cultural backgrounds 

  • Advanced business insight - Good written and verbal communication skills in English  

  • High-level technical understanding of Red Hat’s cloud services portfolio
