We are currently seeking a Manager - AR Distribution to join our Accounting team based in our New York, NY office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The primary responsibility of this position is to actively manage the portfolio of MVPD & Streaming operators that total $1.5B in annual revenue/billings. 
• Internal and external audit AR lead for the MVPD & Streaming portfolio and related transactions. 
• Manage the preparation, execution, and review of all monthly Oracle AR processes (i.e., aging analyses, billing, cash, ad hoc reporting).  
• Perform monthly AR close process, prepare and manage all month-end reporting related to AR close for Finance & Accounting teams. 
• Review and analysis of system level reporting and data trends to ensure the reasonableness of subscriber numbers and revenue amounts. 
• Periodic review of customer contracts.  
• Assist with training of new employees and with testing new/current AR systems (as needed). 
• Ensure that all deadlines and guidelines for billing and accounts receivable are met. 
• Manage one Analyst, Accounts Receivable, Distribution and BPO team. 
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and departmental policies related to Accounts Receivable, Distribution. 
• Assist other areas of department on an as needed basis. 

Qualifications (Required & Preferred) 

• Bachelor's Degree preferred (Accounting or Finance degree)  
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in an Accounts Receivable and/or Accounting department 
• SVOD, MVPD, Accounting and/or Finance experience a plus 
• Oracle or SAP Accounts Receivable or General Ledger experience a plus 
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and multi-task to meet specified deadlines in a high volume, fast paced environment. 
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills 
• Strong computer skills with intermediate to advanced experience in Excel, Powerpoint and Word  

The base compensation for this position is $80,000-$100,000 commensurate with experience.
