As Manager, Appraisal Relations, you will oversee the organization’s appraisal process to ensure fair, accurate, and timely performance assessments. This role involves coordinating and managing internal appraisers, maintaining scheduling efficiency, and ensuring the integrity of FCT’s appraisal systems to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements within the Valuation product suite.
You will address appraisal-related issues, provide training and guidance to both internal and external appraisers, and ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and Appraisal Institute guidelines. In addition, you will analyze appraisal data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the performance management system.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end appraisal process, including leadership of internal appraisers and customer support staff
  • Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to appraisers to ensure consistent, accurate, and fair evaluations
  • Analyze valuation data to identify trends, strengths, and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage day-to-day appraisal operations, including handling escalations from lenders in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain active engagement with appraisal associations to stay current on industry changes, market conditions, and emerging trends

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • CRA or DAR designation, or equivalent experience in the appraisal field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of appraisal standards and industry practices
  • Demonstrated experience in appraisal management

 

 

Total Direct Compensation:

129,600 - 158,500

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g., base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances, where applicable)
