Role Summary

This role within Advanced Modeling & Artificial Intelligence Solutions (AMAIS) supports Technology Development (TD) by leading delivery of data‑driven modeling and analytics solutions.

This role focuses on applying advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to enable fact‑based TD decision‑making, accelerate yield learning, and reduce development cycle time.

Aligned to this role combines people leadership, technical execution, and cross‑functional collaboration, with accountability for consistent delivery and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of data‑driven modeling and analytics solutions supporting Technology Development use cases.
  • Translate complex TD problems into well‑scoped analytical approaches, clear success metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Drive application of statistical methods, machine learning, and large‑scale data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for process and yield improvement.
  • Partner closely with TD, Process, Device, and Manufacturing teams to ensure analytics outputs are relevant, timely, and decision‑ready.
  • Ensure solutions are documented, repeatable, and scalable, following established governance and best‑known methods.
  • Review analysis quality, validate assumptions, and ensure conclusions are supported by data.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and analysts; provide technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Participate in planning, prioritization, and execution reviews; manage scope, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience applying data analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning to real‑world engineering or manufacturing problems.
  • Demonstrated people leadership or senior technical leadership experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor Technology Development or manufacturing domain exposure.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets (e.g., process, tool, or measurement data).
  • Familiarity with modern analytics or modeling platforms and structured problem‑solving approaches.

Success Measures

  • Analytics and modeling outputs that are actively used in AMAIS team decision‑making.
  • Improved speed from data to insight, reducing analysis turnaround time.
  • Demonstrated contribution to yield learning, variation reduction, or development efficiency.
  • Increased reuse and consistency of analytical approaches across TD programs.
  • Strong team engagement, capability growth, and predictable delivery.
