The Manager, Airport Affairs plays a critical role in powering CLEAR’s airport growth strategy. Sitting at the intersection of executive leadership, commercial partnerships, and operational execution, you will architect the governance, contract discipline, and cross-functional coordination that enable CLEAR’s airport footprint to scale nationwide. This is a high-visibility role supporting multi-million-dollar public-private partnerships and shaping how CLEAR expands across the aviation ecosystem.


What you'll do:

  • Own the operational infrastructure behind CLEAR’s airport portfolio — ensuring contracts, compliance, reporting, and renewals are executed flawlessly and proactively
  • Partner directly with the VP, Airport Affairs & Business Development to prepare executive-level materials that support strategic negotiations, renewals, RFP responses, and airport board engagements
  • Build scalable governance frameworks that strengthen long-term airport relationships and institutionalize best-in-class partnership management
  • Serve as the central coordination point across Legal, Finance, Product, Operations, and Marketing to ensure airport commitments translate into seamless execution
  • Deliver real-time relationship intelligence through CRM rigor, stakeholder mapping, and actionable reporting that informs growth strategy

 

How you'll measure success:

  • 100% on-time contract renewals, reporting submissions, and compliance deliverables
  • CRM data accuracy and visibility into stakeholder engagement milestones
  • Executive satisfaction with briefing materials and governance preparation
  • Reduced internal friction through clear documentation, structured follow-ups, and proactive coordination

 

What you're great at:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in operations, business development, public sector administration, consulting, or partner management
  • Working with contracts, reporting requirements, or compliance tracking
  • Supporting enterprise or public-sector partnerships preferred
  • Managing multiple workstreams with high attention to detail
  • Creating structure in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Influencing stakeholders through clarity, organization, and data
  • Strong proficiency in Hubspot / Google Workspace / AI Agents

The base salary range for this role is $115,000-140,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
