Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Deliver projects and manage stakeholder expectations for Novartis pipeline commercial strategy.
  • Act as an individual contributor while mentoring a small team of Analysts/Senior Analysts.
  • Develop advanced analytical solutions for patient journey quantification, forecast validation, and ad-hoc business questions.
  • Analyse complex APLD datasets to extract insights and identify trends.
  • Support exploratory research to expand advanced analytics applications.
  • Apply structured project management with clear documentation and communication.
  • Maintain SOPs, quality checklists, and knowledge repositories for therapy areas, brands, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximise business value.

Minimum requirements:

  • 6+ years in advanced analytics for pharma commercial strategy, with exposure to patient analytics and launch planning.
  • Proven experience in pharma industry or consulting, with strong understanding of global market dynamics.
  • Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with patient-level datasets (APLD) such as IQVIA LAAD, Optum, Komodo, Flatiron; knowledge of Ex-US datasets is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint); experience with Dataiku and BI tools (PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau) preferred.
  • Ability to integrate new data sources quickly and apply structured analytical approaches to complex datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in international, cross-cultural environments.
