We're seeking a dynamic Manager, AdminPlus Operations to lead and grow our high-performing administration team. You'll oversee the day-to-day operations supporting our prestigious AdminPlus clients—a comprehensive benefits administration solution that enables clients to focus on strategic HR priorities while Sun Life manages their program execution.

The AdminPlus Operations team handles critical client services including enrollment, beneficiary designations, new hire processing, retirement administration, and ongoing member support. This is a pivotal leadership role as the team continues to expand in response to growing market demand.

What will you do?

  • Lead team performance: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality customer service delivery across the AdminPlus client portfolio

  • Develop talent: Hire, mentor, and coach team members; conduct performance reviews and address performance issues; make salary recommendations

  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify, develop, and implement process enhancements that deliver measurable, sustainable improvements in service delivery

  • Manage operations: Own resource planning, staffing strategies, and effective utilization of available tools and systems

  • Anticipate and mitigate risk: Ensure team members have the technology and tools needed to maintain service standards

  • Execute strategically: Lead project initiatives and process changes aligned with organizational objectives

  • Champion best practices: Maintain strong execution of the management operations system

What do you need to succeed?

- Proven team management experience in an operations and customer service environment

- Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement

- Strong people leadership skills with experience in hiring, coaching, and performance management

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

- Experience with process optimization and project implementation

- Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada and worldwide.

Preferred skills:

- Background in group benefits, benefits administration, financial services, or similar regulated environment

- Familiarity with administration technologies and systems

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
