Position Summary
You will lead market access activities in India to improve patient access and shape healthcare decisions. You will work closely with internal colleagues across medical, regulatory, commercial and legal teams. You will also build trusting relationships with government, payers, hospitals and patient groups. We value curious, collaborative people who act with integrity and deliver practical solutions. - Develop and drive market access strategies for assigned therapy areas in India, aligned to local needs and company standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, payers, hospitals and other healthcare stakeholders to secure sustainable access outcomes.
- Design and manage access programs such as reimbursement submissions, rate contracts, patient support initiatives and public procurement bids.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Commercial and Patient teams to ensure practical and compliant access solutions.
- Monitor, report and use access data to improve programs and stakeholder engagement.
- Represent GSK in external forums and contribute to policy discussions that strengthen the health system.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, public health, health economics, business or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of experience in market access, government affairs, public policy, patient access programs or related roles in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
- Practical experience engaging with Indian public healthcare stakeholders and familiarity with central and state procurement, reimbursement or national scheme processes.
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and influence decisions across different levels.
- Strong project management skills with experience delivering cross-functional programs on time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Role type: hybrid, combining office and field work, with regular travel across India.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH or MSc in health economics.
- Direct experience in oncology or other specialty therapy areas.
- Experience designing or managing patient support programs, patient assistance schemes or PSPs.
- Familiarity with health technology assessment, pharmacoeconomics or value dossier development.
- Demonstrated success working with public procurement systems, hospital formularies or national health schemes.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to measure access outcomes and recommend changes.

Working Arrangement
This role is hybrid. You will be expected to work from the local office and travel regularly across India to meet stakeholders.
