This position is located at 4-H Camp Whitewood, Windsor, OH in Ashtabula County.
Responsible for the overall administration of 4-H Camp Whitewood. Maintain a positive atmosphere at camp and provide technical assistance in resident camping.
Manage the operation of 4-H Camp Whitewood including full-time staff and seasonal staff. Conduct operations in accordance with the mission, policies, and goals of 4-H Camp
Whitewood Board of Directors. Serve collaboratively and foster healthy relationships with the nine counties in the Northeastern Ohio 4-H Camps, Inc (4-H Camp Whitewood) Corporation. Operate and maintain the camp under ACA and OSU standards. Provide leadership to the process that will result in a positive revenue stream for 4-H Camp Whitewood.
Work cooperatively with the Camp Board of Directors for the development and implementation of long-range plans, risk management, marketing and promotion plans, budget preparation, and evaluation of services. Responsible for the financial management of the camp including income, disbursements, establishing budgets and fees, investment of funds,
implementing control procedures, and assisting with the preparation and presentation of camp financial reports. Focus on developing strong public relations and maintain positive working relationships with current groups and potential customers. Position is located in Windsor, Ohio. Minimum Education Required Master's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience and/or ability in working with diverse clientele and organizations. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to supervise staff, interact with clientele, and coordinate a team effort in the delivery of camp services. Ability to foster/establish positive working relationships with the Camp Board, staff, and clientele. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Ability to provide own transportation. Ability to stand, sit, walk, stoop, carry, lift objects over 75 pounds, and be exposed to the outdoors in all seasons
Desired: Master's degree in Camp Administration, Business Management, Youth Development, Education, other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to utilize a computer for word processing, accounting, and e-mail communications. Self-directed and goaloriented. Ability to effectively delegate tasks to employees. Familiarity with Quickbooks and website management.

The pay range for this profile is $70,100-$91,600/annual. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
