INTRODUCTION:
On our management trainee program, you will quickly assume responsibility for your tasks within the Corporate Strategy department. From the outset, you will feel like an important part of the KION Group and a member of an effective and friendly team. You will work at the heart of our business, supporting leadership in shaping the future direction of the company. After completing the program, Management Trainees will have the opportunity—based on business needs and individual interests—to continue their career in the Strategy Department or explore a wide range of strategic priority functions, such as Export, Product Management, Automation, and other key business areas, supporting a diverse and long-term career development path within the company.
Responsibilities
1.You will play a key role in supporting strategic projects, including market entry analysis, business model innovation, and long-term corporate planning.
2.Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify macroeconomic trends, emerging technologies (like automation and digitalization), and potential growth opportunities.
3.Assist in the preparation of presentations and decision papers for senior management and the global leadership team.
4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Product Management) to gather data and validate strategic hypotheses.
5.Monitor the performance of key strategic initiatives and help track KPIs to measure success against business goals.
6.Contribute to M&A activities where required, including market landscaping and financial analysis of potential targets or partners.
Job Requirement
1.You have a master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management, Finance, or a related technical field with a strong business acumen.
2.You have business-level Chinese and English to communicate complex ideas clearly and create compelling presentations for an international audience.
3.You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, enjoy working with data to solve complex problems, and have a high level of personal initiative.
4.Ideally, you have initial practical experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking, and have already gained experience abroad or in an international environment.
5.You possess excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills and are comfortable with financial modeling and data visualization.
