Tasks
As a Management Trainee (f/m/d) in Quality, you will support the development and continuous improvement of KION Group’s global quality processes within a dynamic business and technology environment.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, including start-ups, you will build the foundation for a future expert role in Global Quality Partnering. Through hands-on involvement and mentoring, you will gain insights into quality governance, partner evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will support customer-focused quality improvement initiatives within ITS EMEA, including the analysis of field quality data.
You will contribute to quality frameworks, standards, and best-practice sharing across ITS EMEA and partner activities.
You will monitor quality performance and compliance by tracking KPIs, OKRs, and improvement actions and support quality-related activities with external partners and suppliers, including assessments and risk identification.
You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across business, technology, and corporate functions.
You will prepare analyses, reports, and presentations for management reviews and quality initiatives.
You will build practical expertise in quality governance and partner quality management through mentoring and real-case involvement.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Business Administration with a strong technical focus.
Strong interest in quality management, continuous improvement, and risk-based thinking, combined with an analytical mindset and the ability to derive structured insights from data.
High learning agility and conceptual thinking, with the motivation to develop quickly in a complex, evolving, and technology-driven environment.
Structured and organized working style, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prepare high-quality analyses and presentations in a matrix organization.
Clear and professional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse internal stakeholders and guided interaction with external partners.
Collaborative, proactive, and improvement-oriented attitude, with openness to feedback, mentoring, and continuous professional development.
First practical experience (e.g. internships, working student roles, thesis projects) in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, process improvement, data analysis, or technology and innovation environments is an advantage.
Very good written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
Strong motivation to work in an international, matrix-driven organization.
