About the Role

Join HP’s Management Reporting and Planning Solutions team and help shape the future of Finance technology. We are looking for a strategic, results-driven Senior IT Business Consultant to drive transformation and innovation initiatives across multiple technologies and platforms that enhance management reporting, planning, and analytics capabilities across HP’s global Finance organization.

In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery of IT solutions—from gathering requirements and designing architecture to implementing advanced reporting solutions and driving innovation through automation and AI. You will partner closely with Finance stakeholders to understand priorities, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and ensure seamless integration across HP’s technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Build strong relationships with Finance leaders to understand reporting priorities and influence technology strategy.

  • Solution Design & Delivery: Architect and implement management reporting solutions leveraging platforms such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP PAPM, S4/BW, and Web Intelligence.

  • Data & Profitability Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of profitability reporting, fully burdened cost analysis, and Finance master data; familiarity with product master data and integration points is a plus.

  • Innovation & Automation: Lead initiatives to integrate AI-driven solutions and automation for Finance processes and internal efficiency.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for standardized, cost-effective IT solutions that serve multiple business units and geographies.

  • Project Leadership: Manage complex implementations from concept to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and timely delivery.

  • Governance & Best Practices: Advocate for best practices in reporting design, data governance, and IT process improvement across the organization.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance IT projects, management reporting, and process improvement.

  • Proven track record in SAP-based reporting solutions and integration across enterprise platforms.

  • Strong understanding of Finance management reporting concepts, profitability analysis, and master data management.

  • Expertise in Agile methodology, business analysis, and project management.

  • Technical proficiency in SQL, automation tools, and AI application design.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • Experience with SAP PAPM, S/4 HANA, S4/BW, and related reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications for Finance.

  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or SAP are a plus.

Salary:

The pay range for this role is $122,000 to $155,000 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
