Job Summary: You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the PRODUCTION PROCESS IMPROVMENT (CODE 900P) of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Qualifications: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: FOR GS-09 (one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-07): Experience assisting with studies to gather performance data, evaluating departmental programs and ensuring compliance with established program requirements. Experience assisting with development of recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives. Experience using computer software to develop reports, charts, graphs and spreadsheets required for presentations. FOR GS-11 (one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09): Experience applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in order to conduct studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness. Experience conducting surveillances and gathering data on department processes, operations, equipment, and safety and work practices to ensure compliance with established program requirements. Experience analyzing and developing recommendations for improvement in program operations and objectives. Experience using computer software to develop reports, charts, graphs and spreadsheets required for presentations.
