Major Duties:

  • You will provide information for making decisions on the administrative and program management aspects of the mission with emphasis on explosives safety requirements, facilities management, and workforce training.
  • You will administer the Unit Explosives Safety Qualification and Certification Program. (ESQC)
  • You will administer the Units Training Requirements.
  • You will maintain and manage the detachment facility database.
  • You will analyze data and provide tracking and status of facility maintenance.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying knowledge of Explosive Safety Qualification. Experience applying knowledge of ordnance and explosives safety principles including operations risk management, mishap reporting, safety training and occupational safety matters applicable to training and facility management. Experience applying knowledge of naval correspondence procedures and practices, directives issuance systems, office automation software and hardware sufficient to produce a wide range of reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
