Job Summary: You will serve as a Senior Management and Program Analyst supporting major projects, programs, Mission Directorates, or organizational initiatives. You will independently lead complex analyses, develop new methods or approaches, interpret agency policy and directives, and provide authoritative recommendations that enhance mission performance and organizational effectiveness.

Major Duties:

  • Lead complex assessments of organizational operations and performance, identifying issues and recommending improvements that support projects, programs, Mission Directorates, or organizational goals.
  • Manage and apply advanced analytical methods to program or project data, ensuring rigorous evaluation and accurate interpretation.
  • Review and interpret agency policy, procedural directives, and administrative guidance to determine impacts on assigned programs or organizational functions.
  • Provide specialized expertise in communications, operations, or business functions in support of mission related activities.
  • Lead strategic planning and develop new analytical methods, criteria, or processes that advance program or organizational direction.
  • Conduct program and management assessments, defining evaluation criteria, performance indicators, and milestones.
  • Oversee data validation, quality assurance, and compliance with study protocols for program or project analyses.
  • Prepare and deliver authoritative briefings, reports, and findings to senior leaders across projects, programs, or Mission Directorates.

Qualifications: Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Interpreting and applying agency policy, directives, or administrative guidance to advise leadership and guide program execution; Developing new or improved analytical methods, performance measures, or decision support tools to enhance program or organizational effectiveness; and Preparing authoritative reports, studies, and briefings that influence decisions on program direction, resource prioritization, or operational improvements.
