Job Summary: You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR. Salary Range: GS-07: $56,715 - $73,731 GS-09: $69,373 - $90,190

Major Duties:

  • You will evaluate the departments administrative, management, and technical processes for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with requirements.
  • You will participate in process improvement events throughout department divisions to analyze processes and identify waste, inefficiencies, deficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • You will provide information technology solutions by developing workflows, data management systems, analysis tools, automation, tasking, and reporting systems by customizing off the shelf software.
  • You will develop and manage the department records and directives programs and serve as the department representative for command records and directives.
  • You will review and ensure department originated command directives and correspondence are compliant with policies and track revision status and manage directives through the review and approval process.
  • You will audit department records inventory, storage, and disposal to ensure compliance with requirements and perform assessment of the department record keeping activities to identify deficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • You will create, edit, and format reports, directives, presentations, web pages, and correspondence.
  • You will coordinate department training programs by issuing training requirements, tracking training completion, and inputting completed training into training management systems and assisting department staff in obtaining training.
  • You will contact training vendors for quotes and schedules, assess the department training programs for effectiveness and training needs, identifying trends or problems and prepare reports that recommend corrective action and improvements.

Qualifications: For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support by evaluating program requirements for efficiency and effectiveness. Examples may include the following: participating in process improvement events; developing or managing records and directives programs; creating, editing, and formatting reports, directives, presentations, web pages, and correspondence; reviewing department originated command directives and correspondence to ensure compliance with policy; procuring or assisting with procurement of supplies, equipment, services, and travel. For GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
