The Business Planner – GT1 Managed Services Delivery is an expert‑level individual contributor role responsible for driving enterprise‑level business planning, governance, and operational enablement across HPS Managed Services GT1 Delivery Operations.

This role operates as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating strategy into executable plans, ensuring strong governance, and enabling predictable business execution. The Business Planner owns complex, cross‑functional planning and governance processes, leads executive‑level storytelling, and delivers deep insights across people, financials, accounts, and operations.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, the ability to influence without authority, and the capability to act as a stabilizing force in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Governance & Management Frameworks

  • Own and continuously evolve HPS Managed Services GT1 Delivery Operations governance
  • Define, maintain, and improve management and governance frameworks
  • Ensure consistent application of Overall POM (Process of Management)
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert for business planning and governance across GT1 Delivery Operations

Business Rhythm & Executive Readiness

  • Lead end‑to‑end executive readiness for management and leadership reviews
  • Set and enforce standards for quality, clarity, and consistency of executive materials
  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively shape narratives, insights, and decision points
  • Track decisions, actions, and outcomes to ensure follow‑through and accountability
  • Own and curate GT1 Overview materials used in executive, stakeholder, and leadership forums
  • Ensure consistent messaging across leadership forums and planning cycles

Strategic Stakeholder & Sales Interlock Leadership

  • Own and drive the Sales interlock operating model and cadence
  • Ensure strong alignment between Sales, Delivery Operations, and leadership priorities
  • Lead cross‑functional coordination with senior stakeholders
  • Support AHM (All Hands Meeting)‑related planning, alignment, and execution follow‑ups

Workforce Strategy, Compliance & Enablement

  • Own People Plan governance for GT1 Delivery Operations
  • Drive mandatory training adherence and compliance tracking
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce governance, readiness, and enablement topics

Leadership Advisory & Complex Business Requests

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Planner requests from senior leadership
  • Independently assess, prioritize, and execute complex and ambiguous requests
  • Provide structured recommendations, options, and impact assessments
  • Act as a trusted advisor, enabling leaders to focus on strategic outcomes

Accounts & Business Performance Insights

  • Own GT1 accounts overview and performance storytelling, including:
    • Account footprint and geographic distribution
    • High‑level revenue and business indicators
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, executive‑level insights and implications
  • Support leadership with forward‑looking perspectives for planning and decision‑making

Business Planning, HC Strategy & Financial Structuring

  • Lead Business Planning activities, including HC Planning and POM
  • Ensure alignment between financial planning, workforce strategy, and operational execution
  • Proactively identify risks, constraints, and optimization opportunities and surface them to leadership

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Expert‑level business planning and governance capability
  • Strong financial and workforce planning acumen
  • Ability to operate independently and provide structure in high‑ambiguity environments
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills
  • Strong systems thinking, attention to detail, and disciplined follow‑through
  • Proven experience driving automation and operational efficiency, simplifying day‑to‑day organizational processes and supporting continuous improvement
  • Fluent English
  • Good knowledge in other languages would be an advantage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in business planning, operations, finance, or enterprise program roles
  • Proven track record supporting senior leadership and executive forums
  • Experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations
