As a Mammographer at our Derby Hospital, you’ll bring advanced technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. As well as a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), you have a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation.
As a Mammographer, you will:

High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
A postgraduate qualification in mammography
Post registration experience relevant to the role.

The Nuffield Health Derby Hospital is a modern, purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds, three operating theatres, and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.
The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures, theatre, ultrasound, MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds, we’re about 3 miles from the city centre, within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
