Makeup Artist, SEPHORA is an essential team member responsible for driving sales within Sephora Flagship stores within Central Singapore.

The ideal candidate is an excellent makeup artist, team player, great communicator driven to deliver sales targets and a strong relationship builder. This role will be based in Singapore and will report to the General Manager, Asia who is based in Hong Kong.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

SALES MANAGEMENT:

  • Drive sales by achieving or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets at assigned store location.
  • Identify business opportunities and maximize productivity
  • Propose sales strategies, including clienteling, eventing, and visual merchandising, to boost brand performance.
  • Present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through professional makeup services, including consultations and applications

STORE OPERATION:

  • Support merchandising efforts, ensuring testers, displays, and gondolas are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock concerns or opportunities to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area inventory processes and procedures
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition
  • Build strong relationships with customers and retailers
  • Respect retailer/store procedures, guidelines and brand confidentiality

DRIVING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience
  • Foster long-term customer relationships through personalized consultations and exceptional service to encourage repeat business.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and effectively. Uphold the brand image and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs and preferences, educate customers on product usage and application methods.
  • Participate and support in product launches and brand events and marketing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in providing professional makeup application and exceptional guest services
  • Sales-driven with a proactive attitude.
  • Flexible and able to work varying schedules – days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, full shifts
  • Ability to attract prospective clients, maintain an active clientele portfolio and drive sales
  • Adapt at positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has an aptitude to learn and communicate product knowledge
  • Ability to stand and bend frequently and lift
