Maintenance Trainee
The Maintenance Trainee is designed to develop PM Mechanics for Niagara Bottling’s Maintenance department. A Maintenance Trainee will learn the skills necessary to act as a PM Mechanic through hands-on training and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) courses. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Functions
- The Maintenance Trainee will complete the learning objectives of a 18-24-month training program to be able to:
- Shadow and learn from Operators, PM Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Sr. Maintenance Technicians
- Travel to out-of-state mandatory OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant
- Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of the following equipment in the manufacturing facility:
- Injection Molder
- Blow Molder
- Filler
- Capper
- Labeler
- Packer
- Palletizer
- Conveyors
- Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or assigned direct supervisor
- Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of the learning objectives for each learning activity in both theory and practice
- Upon successful completion of the Maintenance Trainee program, the participant will be placed into a full-time position as a PM Mechanic.
