This position will be based out of Flower Mound, TX.
Schedule: Monday - Friday -- 5:00AM - 1:30PM
Preferred Qualifications (copy/paste ready)
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with industrial equipment, including mechanical and electrical systems (motors, sensors, wiring, controls, and related components).
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (diagnosing leaks/pressure issues, replacing components, and restoring equipment to safe operation).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics/diagrams (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic/hydraulic) to support testing and repair.
- Strong safety mindset with demonstrated use of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices during maintenance and repair activities.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance (PM) and supporting equipment reliability (identifying wear trends, recommending improvements, and documenting corrective actions).
- Comfortable creating clear technical documentation (maintenance procedures, equipment modifications, and repair summaries).
- Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to support basic reporting (tracking PM completion, downtime trends, parts usage, or maintenance metrics).
- Able to work effectively with operations teams—supporting operator training and standard work (PM/AM procedures, checklists, and job aids).
Job Summary
Responsible for primary (PM) planned maintenance and small scope technical troubleshooting and repair activities.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety and testing.
- Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems
- Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses difficult, infrequent problems with equipment. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Acts as liaison for Contract Maintenance personnel and oversees contract maintenance activities as required.
- Trains Operators on (AM) Autonomous Maintenance developing PM/AM procedures and training programs.
- Maintains shop and equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.

- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment
- Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
