ROLE SUMMARY
Our technicians at MC&U play vital roles in ensuring timely delivery of medicines to the patients. This role focuses on performing routine operational tasks under close supervision while learning core technical skills. Responsibilities include managing personal time and development, contributing as a team member, and adhering to company guidelines and safety protocols. The position emphasizes learning, reliability, and attention to detail, with opportunities to develop technical expertise and problem-solving skills in a structured environment.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine operational tasks following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Observe and report status of equipment, supplies, and operational conditions.
Document completed work and escalate issues as needed.
Adhere to safety protocols and compliance standards.
Engage in on-the-job training to build technical skills and knowledge.
Assist in resolving minor operational problems under guidance.
Identify and solve routine problems using direct application of skills and knowledge in a structured environment.
Handle and maintain tools, materials, and equipment for assigned processes.
Participate in team huddles or briefings to understand daily priorities and support team deliverables by completing assigned tasks on time.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic technical knowledge of procedures, tools, and equipment.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Must be able to demonstrate receptiveness to new processes and ideas.
Ability to work in a structured environment under close supervision.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in learning and growing within Technical Operations.
Time management and accountability for individual tasks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of maintenance experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device manufacturing environment.
Basic mechanical skills in maintaining and troubleshooting pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuge, autoclaves, HVAC systems, central utilities systems (York chillers, gas fire boilers, pharma grade air compressor), clean steam generators, and water purification systems (WFI, RO, DI).
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requirements are typical for a manufacturing plant-based work environment with significant shop floor exposure.
Routine lifting, sitting, standing, walking and bending is required.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Schedule is a mixture of day shift (M-F, 8 hrs) and rotating 12 hour shifts that include night and weekend work. Alternative work schedules may be required to support specific project-related activities.

The salary for this position ranges from $23,40 to $39,01 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
