Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain in operational condition the clean room areas installed in the plant.

  • Maintain a daily management over the control variables of clean room, to ensure the quality of the products and components manufactured inside of these areas, based on the FDA and ISO 13485 quality regulations and internal procedures.

  • Responsible to attend manufacturing equipment during a shutdown, for and correct or repair the equipment, if necessary, to maintain them in operative conditions and ready to be used for manufacturing.

  • Responsible to implement and document the Preventive Maintenance for

  • manufacturing and facilities equipment, including all ancillary equipment used, to maintain the equipment in good condition and ready for manufacturing.

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel in relation to production

  • equipment, maintaining a constant flow of production without delay.

  • Responsible to maintain the manufacturing and facilities equipment, free of leaks, ordered, clean, and functional / operational; as well as of the security systems installed in them.

  • Responsible to maintain the maintenance areas and workshops neat, clean and

  • organized based on 5s methodology.

  • Responsible to generate, execute continuous improvement projects for the

  • maintenance area, to improve the equipment operation, reduce cycle times, power consumption and all variable that could improve the productive efficiency in the equipment.

  • Provide technical support to engineers and technicians during equipment, dies,

  • processes and/or products qualifications.

  • Responsible to maintain the Plant building, electrical connections under “Uniform Building” and fire code norms, to warranty the security of each employee.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a maintenance technician.

  • Knowledge in molding equipment as extruders and injection is a must.

  • Preferably experience and knowledge in manufacturing based on medical

  • regulations.

  • Maintenance/ Electromechanical/Mechanical/Electrical Technician degree.

  • Experience in use of diagnostic, testing and monitoring equipment. Ability to use

  • hand tools.

  • Knowledge in electronics and wiring, hydraulics, air conditioning, plumbing,

  • construction.

  • Experience cleanroom operation would be a "plus".

  • Pneumatic Electrical distribution, motor control.

  • Modification, applications and troubleshooting.

  • Mechanical assembly, welding, melting plastic.

  • Knowledge advanced in Word, Excel and Power Point.

  • 50% English.

  • Capable to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • He/She must have good manual dexterity.

  • Accurate and attention to details.

  • Ability to problem resolution.

  • High gift of service and responsibility to others, high ethical and moral values.

  • Numerical Ability and Observation.

  • Involves sitting, standing and/or walking, with frequent ability to expert up to 15 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 30 pounds of force to move objects.
