The Role: Maintenance Technician (Assembly) The Maintenance Technician (Assembly) is responsible for supporting all production equipment, ensuring machines are properly maintained, operated, and repaired efficiently to consistently achieve production output targets. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment reliability, and ensuring a safe and productive working environment. What You’ll Do: • Maintain all production process equipment effectively to ensure optimal performance. • Manage and maintain an adequate supply of spare parts within budget to minimize equipment downtime. • Identify preventive maintenance (PM) requirements and maintain accurate records of all activities performed. • Participate actively in company initiatives such as training sessions and continuous improvement projects. • Comply with all workplace safety guidelines and ensure proper adherence at all times. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. What We Seek: • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and demonstrated capability to perform the job duties. • Diploma or vocational qualification with a Machine Certificate or equivalent. • Willingness and ability to work on a shift schedule and respond to call-back requirements. • PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, with the ability to diagnose and correct equipment faults (preferably with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi PLC systems). • Ability to interpret complex mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings.
