Play a key role in keeping our Weavergate facility running safely and efficiently. In this hands‑on engineering role, you’ll maintain and repair critical equipment, support technical teams, and help drive continuous improvement across our operations.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Ensure the continued running of the Weavergate facility for all process mechanical & electrical equipment through a hands-on approach.
The safe removal, overhauling and installation of process equipment i.e. Pumps and filling equipment.
Support EC&I & Electrical Technicians in engineering and maintenance activities.
Develop maintenance procedures and other Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental documentation as necessary.
Working safely on site and adhering to health and safety procedures for maintenance work. Permit; Hot Works, LOTO, Confined Space ect.
Work with Process Engineer, Plant Electrical Engineer & other production staff on troubleshooting and improvement projects.
Ensure all maintenance (internal & contractors) work is carried out correctly, safely and recorded as per the procedures.
Maintain site 5s standards and be involved with TPM based projects
Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements
Qualifications:
Time Server Engineer / Maintenance Technician, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. (suitable alterative experience will be considered).
Minimum of 5 years experience, ideally working on a Top Tier COMAH chemical site.
Experience of fault finding and repair of mechanical, pneumatic & process systems
Experience of fabrication and installation to support equipment and pipelines
Experience of Liquid transfer systems, maintaining and installing.
Experience of working to a preventative maintenance schedule
Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic drawings
Ability to write clear effective reports and procedures
Ability to follow complex work instructions and document completed work accurately
Willingness to learn about software control systems (SCADA)
Willingness to assist and lean about EC&I activities
