Position Summary

  • Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shift from 7:30PM to 7:30AM EST, operating on a two-week cycle. Week 1 includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; Week 2 includes Wednesday and Thursday.

  • 100% on-site

The Maintenance Technician, Calibration offers a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of precision, problem-solving, and advanced manufacturing operations. This role is interesting because it combines mechanical and electrical expertise with calibration accuracy, process improvement, and real impact on equipment performance and product quality. The Role

  • Supports manufacturing operations through equipment set-up, changeovers, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs using mechanical and electrical skills.

  • Leads small-scale process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.

  • Works independently with minimal supervision, applying hands-on experience and training.

  • Handles a mix of routine and non-routine tasks, including corrective and preventative maintenance.

  • Follows established processes while helping determine approaches for new or complex assignments and supporting less experienced team members.

  • Ensures safe work practices and provides training on equipment set-up, operation, and changeovers, with basic knowledge of machining and fabrication.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 1+ years of relevant experience OR;

  • High School diploma with 3+years of relevant experience or vocational training.

  • Technical Certificate or higher preferred.

  • Possesses intermediate mechanical and electrical skills with relevant education, basic machine shop and hand tool experience, proficiency in computer systems including electronic work orders, and the ability to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift to 50 pounds; no lifting greater than 40.09 pounds without assistance. Be accessible to manufacturing floor and office staff and use required office equipment. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screens.
