Maintenance Technician
You will maintain and repair production equipment to keep our Algeria site safe, reliable, and efficient. You will work closely with operators, engineers, and contractors to diagnose faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and improve equipment performance. Responsibilities:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and electromechanical production equipment.
- Diagnose breakdowns, troubleshoot faults and restore equipment to full operation quickly and safely.
- Record work and update the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) with accurate logs.
- Support continuous improvement by proposing and implementing technical solutions to improve equipment reliability.
- Supervise and coordinate internal or external contractors while ensuring safe systems of work and compliance with site rules.
- Follow and promote safety, quality and good manufacturing practice during all maintenance activities.

Basic Qualification:
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Technical diploma or degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of industrial electricity, automation or PLC systems.
- Experience using a CMMS or work order system and basic IT skills (MS Office).
- Good understanding of workplace safety and permit to work practices.
- Able to work on-site; this role is on-site in Algeria.
Preferred Qualification:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Degree or higher technical qualification in engineering (BTS, DUT, Licence, or equivalent).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of PLC programming, pneumatics, hydraulics or instrumentation.
- Experience supervising contractors and managing spare parts inventory.
- Familiarity with SAP or other purchasing/procurement systems.
- Working level of English or French to support technical documentation and cross-site communication.
