Main Purpose:
Responsible for leading, supervising, and ensuring the disciplined execution of maintenance processes within the terminal, guaranteeing maximum asset reliability, operational efficiency, and safe, high-quality service delivery. The role drives maintenance performance through resource optimization, continuous improvement, and compliance with corporate and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations across all maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to the Safety Program and Risk Analysis by the execution team.
- Supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for terminal assets (static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and control).
- Ensure maintenance plans are executed in accordance with technical, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Implement continuous improvement of maintenance plans, route maps, bills of materials, and maintenance procedures.
- Lead field technicians and contractors, fostering a culture of safety, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as availability, reliability, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs.
- Optimize maintenance execution to maximize efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure proper scheduling of maintenance windows.
- Manage the efficient use of resources (labor, materials, spare parts, and external services).
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead reliability initiatives with the Planner (root cause analysis, etc.).
- Develop and execute maintenance cost-reduction initiatives for assets (Benefits Capture System). Timely report maintenance and safety findings to supervisors.
- Oversee the proper management of work orders in the maintenance management system (CMMS – IWO).
- Conduct investigations with the Planning department related to equipment maintenance.
- Ensure the availability and accuracy of technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices (API, ISO, OEM recommendations).
Knowledge and Abilities:
Academic Background:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas, port terminals, or process plants.
- Experience supervising technical teams and contractors.
Technical Knowledge:
- Maintenance management (preventive, predictive, and corrective).
- Asset reliability (RCM, RCA).
- CMMS systems proficiency (SAP PM desirable).
- HSE regulations and international standards (API, ISO, etc.).
- Sector-specific equipment: pumps, tanks, piping, valves, loading/unloading systems, instrumentation and control, electrical systems (substations, MCCs, motors, lighting, power generation).
Other:
- Must reside in the Northern area of Buenos Aires Province.
- Proficiency in IT tools: Microsoft Office suite and management systems.
