Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises the maintenance services and operations of the assigned division.
- Coordinates and schedules all routine, preventative, and special project work requests.
- Prepares and reviews operational reports to ensure efficiency.
- Develops estimate details for routine, special, and remodel projects.
- Ensures all staff are properly trained to perform their jobs.
- Assists in preparation of the annual maintenance budget.
- Assists in preparation of annual shop inventory.
- Recommends and implements operating policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- This position requires a high school diploma and eight years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.
- Related full-time work experience in facilities maintenance or a closely related field.
- Experience supervising and delegating the work of others.
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field.
- Eight years related work experience in a large commercial or educational setting.
- Completed apprenticeship program in an appropriate trade.

- Demonstrated track record of reliability, meeting goals, and holding oneself accountable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working effectively across teams.
- Knowledge of applicable building systems, equipment life cycles, preventative maintenance schedules, and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of project and cost control techniques.

- Skill in identifying complex problems to develop options and implement solutions.
- Ability to anticipate and diffuse problems before they occur.
- Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others.
