Salary range 005: $84,200-$105,200 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

Your role in achieving results:
The Maintenance Specialist supports the delivery of business objectives through the application of defect elimination, root cause analysis, project management, and technical support of on-site maintenance execution, operations, and project teams.
- Engineering and troubleshooting support of maintenance execution and operations teams.
- Identification, ownership and implementation of initiatives to deliver improvements in safety, asset performance, and cost.
- Capital project validation and delivery support.
- Reconciliation of production loss accounting data.
- Optimize the Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR).
- Develop equipment modification plans based on failure data, crafts feedback and OEM design modifications.
- Make specific equipment recommendations to improve machinery performance and maintainability.
- Create plans to standardize parts across like machines taking into account specific component performance and maintainability.
- Responsible to maintain current and correct OEM specifications, manuals and procedures for plant assets in support of planning functions and in support of daily maintenance function.
- Resource for the Reliability Specialist with specific machine performance information and detailed component and parts data.
- Develop new and innovative methods for timely repair of assets.
- Prepare specific job plans steps with detailed procedures for completion of repair in the most effective and efficient manner.
- Catalog and database the RCA/RCFA results and subsequent action items.
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance supervisors, planners and crafts personnel in the form of specific, technical data on machinery configuration and performance.
- Utilize metrics for system, asset and component maintainability.
What we are looking for to deliver these results:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Diploma in maintenance, electromechanics, mechanical engineering or other relevant training required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering maintenance roles required.
- Experience with Defect Elimination processes and Root Cause Analysis methodology required.
- Experience with failure analysis required.
- Experience working in a fixed plant environment required.
- Proficient with Precision Maintenance best practices and methodology required.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) or equivalent certification by a professional organization preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
