What You Will Do

Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within the industrial environment. Responsible for planning and scheduling preventative maintenance tasks, adhering to Pratt & Whitney Procedure MC&O 5.2.5.3 guidelines; this role requires proficiency in SAP system, Microsoft Office applications, and effective communication with production teams to optimize machinery uptime and minimize downtime.

Monday –Thursday; 6:00 AM –4:30 PM

  • Plan and Schedule Maintenance Activities: Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment based on Pratt & Whitney Procedure MC&O 5.2.5.3 guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Establish Daily Walk Arounds: Collaborate with production teams to establish and conduct daily walkarounds for production areas, identifying maintenance needs and addressing issues promptly.
  • Coordinate Scheduled Downtime: Work closely with production teams to establish and coordinate scheduled downtime for machinery and equipment maintenance, minimizing disruption to production schedules.
  • Prioritize Maintenance Tasks: Understand the priority of machines and equipment based on operational needs and production schedules, ensuring critical maintenance tasks are addressed promptly.
  • Equipment Inspection and Assessment: Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, assess performance, and determine maintenance needs.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and breakdowns to identify underlying issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Proven experience as a maintenance planner or similar role in an industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning principles, PM frequencies, and scheduling methodologies.
