Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Administers Preventative Maintenance Program
    • Input PM information into the SAP system and update changes (Ex. When equipment modified, Adding task such as Metal to Metal wear)
    • Run PM Report weekly and Generate PM work orders from system
    • Distribute Planned PM work orders
  • Requisitioning Parts
    • Fax Parts List to Vendors for Requisition parts
    • Follow up on Parts ordered to assure parts are here in time line needed
    • After parts received file requisition by Vendor
    • Assist Analyst in Stockroom Request
    • Fill out paper copy of Stockroom Request form
    • Fax Recommended parts list to Vendor for Pricing
  • Co-ordinate Work Order Scheduling Meeting
    • Run Sequel Report of Outstanding open work orders
    • Issue to each person their list of outstanding open work orders
    • Organize and input weekend work information into weekend report
    • Furnish weekend report to maintenance Supervisors
  • SAP Entity equipment updates
    • Update Changes in SAP system for all equipment in department
    • Document Model numbers and serial numbers
    • Fill paper work out for Stockroom inventory request
  • Work Order analysis report
    • Manually go in and count completed work orders in SAP
    • Transfer information from SAP into Excel
    • Create bar graph to indicate percentage of completed work orders
  • Tracking MRO Cost report
    • Manually go in and retrieve Cost information in SAP
    • Transfer information from SAP into Excel
    • Furnish MRO Cost report to Maintenance Manager
  • Support Maintenance Supervisors on an as needed basis for special projects
  • Back up Maintenance Supervisor when necessary, i.e. vacations, sick days, etc.

  • Maintain safety and quality awareness of team around line or process machinery.
  • Maintain a clean work area, adhering to all GMP’s
  • This person has the responsibility to operate under the Kraft Heinz Safety Values.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental policies, procedures and compliance programs.
  • Work toward achieving an injury free environment.
  • Responsible for reviewing work areas for potential losses and loss control opportunities and for reporting hazards, injuries/illnesses, and other losses to supervisors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3-5 years as a maintenance technician.

LANGUAGE SKILLS- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and/or interpret bar graphs.

COMPUTER SKILLS- Ability to use Spreadsheets, word-processing, e-mail, internet and other common office environment computer software/applications.

REASONING ABILITY- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

TRAINING REQUIRED

  • It is expected that employee will be able to perform essential duties after receiving 160 Hours of on-the-job training.
  • Employee will receive training on operation of machines including safety.
  • Employee and trainer will be required to sign-off on training documentation.
