Job Details:
1. Managing of Farm complex
a. Ensure that all poultry houses, hatchery & all farm facility & structure is in good condition and presentable at all time.
b. Ensure that all farm cost with regards to maintaining the facility is within the budget.
c. Ensure availability of all farm machine, equipment & fixtures at all time.
d. Ensure availability of office & maintenance supplies regular stock inventory update.
2. Managing and implementing of proper Farm complex waste & mortality disposal.
a) Maintain farm, hatchery, office, shower facility, CVPI frontage, garage, down time, canteen, receiving, living area, supplies stock room, feeds & rice hull stock room in good condition & sanitation at all time.
b) Ensure all shower facility’s equipment (shower head, shower valve, drain, heaters, flooring & walling) in good condition
c) Ensure proper & regular schedule of farm & hatchery waste disposal.
d) Ensure weekly clearing of facilities, disposal of farm debris, litter disposal
e) Ensure weekly disposal of burnt/ ash mortality
f) Ensure availability of LPG & incineration system spare parts.
g) Ensure availability of Diesel
h) Ensure proper washing, segregation and updated inventory of empty sack- to include on weekly report
i) Submit monthly monitoring of water meter reading diesel consumption.
j) Submit weekly & monthly monitoring activities to Complex Manager, Production Manager & Safety Manager.
3. Procure and manage all materials needed for maintenance programs and projects.
a) Ensure availability of all supplies needed for maintenance technician in coordination with Maintenance Supervisors and Purchaser.
b) Ensure the monitoring of materials in and out of the stockroom and with proper segregation or 5’S.
4. Maintain good Vegetation control for the whole complex
a) Provide vegetation control program
b) Ensure good vegetation status for the whole complex at all time.
c) Ensure availability of grass cutting equipment and herbicide at all time.
d) Provide weekly vegetation status update to Production, Safety Manager, QA/ Farm Vet., Complex Manager & General Manager
5. Maintain and manage all farm vehicles & driver schedules.
a) Ensure proper scheduling of all drivers in coordination with Logistics and Supervisors with regards to chick & egg deliveries, admin requirements and service for all team members.
b) Provide drivers for daily egg collection, transportation of feeds, rice-hull & farm supplies, flock transfer & flock disposal at all time to avoid disruption in operation.
c) Provide, monitor, record and ensure safety & preventive maintenance of all farm vehicles.
d) Provide regular trainings & meeting with drivers.
6. Provide weekly updates/ report to Complex, Production, Safety, General Manager & QA/ Farm vet.
7. Performs other functions that maybe assigned from time to time.
