Maintenance Officer

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

Role Summary
You will maintain and improve production equipment and systems at GSK Pakistan. You will work closely with production, quality, stores, and contractors to keep machines running safely and reliably. Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment according to schedules and procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Support machine changeovers, retooling, calibration, and validation readiness.
- Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan, execute and close work orders with accurate records.
- Help identify and deliver reliability and efficiency improvement projects.
- Supervise external contractors and ensure safe working conditions and compliance with site protocols.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma (DAE) or Bachelor degree in Mechanical, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3-4 years production equipment maintenance experience.
- Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

- Experience troubleshooting, commissioning, or programming PLCs and HMI systems.

- Practical experience with CMMS, maintenance planning, and spare parts control.
- Experience supporting calibration, validation, and data integrity activities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with production, quality and stores.
