Provides general carpentry and painting to maintain, repair and renovate the physical structure. Provides basic HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services to efficiently operate facilities and equipment. Tests, monitors and operates equipment/chemicals for water supply. Removes snow using various types of equipment. Provides assistance to maintain grounds, as required.Job Duties:
Work is typically performed in a warehouse/maintenance or office environment; may require performance of work within clinical areas. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to reach above head, bend, push, pull, stoop and kneel. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Join our Facilities team as a Maintenance Mechanic II and put your hands‑on talent to work supporting safe, reliable operations at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
In this role, you’ll tackle a variety of tasks—from carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, and floor/ceiling repairs to equipment upkeep, minor mechanical fixes, and snow‑removal duties.
