Job Summary: Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Major Duties:

  • Performs a variety of maintenance work involving various trade skills. Applies and demonstrates accepted methods, techniques, and applications common and complex to the various trades. Performs maintenance, renovation, construction, alterations, and repairs. Installs, modifies, and repairs new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as sewage, water, oil, and gas distribution systems, and water closets, tubs, fire sprinkler systems, and showers. Works from building plans, blueprints and sketches. Performs special coating methods such as marbling and graining using coating materials prepared in special as well as common ways and by applying coating techniques that ensure surfaces have a smooth-textured and decorative appearance and meet thickness and level requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Must be able to plan and complete Journeyman level work which demonstrates knowledge of the skills associated with a variety of trades including painting, masonry, plumbing and welding. Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of the Uniform Building Code. Possession of a valid California driver's license.
