Maintenance Intern – Maximo Implementation

As a Maintenance Systems Intern – Maximo Implementation, you will support the rollout and pilot of IBM Maximo in the Components Plant. The role focuses on user adoption, system configuration support, and condition monitoring data collection to ensure a successful pilot and future scalability across Monterrey plants.

What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)

• Conduct 1:1 training sessions with operators and technicians on opening and closing work orders in Maximo.
• Create visual job aids and support user access management.
• Collect and document variables for condition monitoring.
• Support configuration of Maximo Monitor and Health.
• Assist spare parts homologation efforts within Maximo for VAO or other Monterrey plants.
• Support pilot execution, follow-up, and documentation.

What Success Looks Like

• Operators and technicians correctly using Maximo for work orders.
• Clear and effective visual aids supporting system adoption.
• Reliable condition monitoring data captured and documented.
• Successful execution of the Maximo pilot in Planta Componentes.
• Readiness for scalability of Maximo to other plants.

What You Bring

Education

• Student in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

• Interest or exposure to EAM systems (Maximo preferred).
• Basic understanding of maintenance or manufacturing environments.

Technical Expertise

• Ability to learn and configure digital maintenance tools.
• Comfort working with systems, data, and technical documentation.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication skills for shop-floor interaction.
• Proactive, hands-on, and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to train, guide, and support system users.

Languages

• Intermediate-advanced English.
