Job Details:
The Maintenance Generalist (MG01) is an entry-level maintenance position responsible for performing preventative maintenance and assisting in maintaining and repairing equipment and company assets. This role ensures a safe work environment and adheres to Tyson Food’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and disassemble equipment.
Housekeeping responsibilities.
Operate and maintain mobile equipment.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Engage in physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times monthly.
Work in varying temperature conditions, both hot and cold.
Work overtime and weekends as needed. Follow instructions and communicate effectively
Loading and Unloading responsibilities.
External Requirements:
Up to six months of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance; agriculture milling experience preferred.
Basic computer skills for training purposes.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to obtain and retain PIT Certification
