Position Purpose
The Maintenance Fitter role is responsible for supporting the reliable operation of plant and equipment through the completion of mechanical maintenance activities. The position involves carrying out both planned maintenance tasks as allocated by the Maintenance Planner and responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise production downtime.
The Maintenance Fitter will maintain regular communication with Production teams to ensure maintenance issues are identified, prioritised, and resolved efficiently. The role operates on the afternoon shift, working from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work available.
