Maintenance Coordinator
Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing air-operated production equipment.
Focus on pneumatic systems, mechanical reliability, and minimizing downtime.
Supports Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and spare parts management.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on brake presses, shear presses, punch presses, and roll form machines.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Diagnose air issues (leaks, pressure loss, valve and cylinder failures).
Respond quickly to breakdowns and restore equipment.
Inspect, adjust, and align equipment.
Read schematics, diagrams, and drawings.
Parts & Inventory
Identify and source correct replacement parts.
Maintain organized spare parts inventory (5S).
Order parts and coordinate with vendors.
Track high-wear components and manage stock levels.
Lean & 5S
Support Lean initiatives and eliminate waste.
Participate in continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
Maintain organized, clean, and standardized work areas.
Participate in 5S audits.
Qualifications
Experience with pneumatic production equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to read schematics and drawings.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
KPIs
Equipment uptime and downtime reduction.
MTTR (Mean Time to Repair).
PM completion rate.
Parts availability and reduced emergency orders.
5S audit scores and improvement participation.
