The Folsom manufacturing location supports the manufacture of Agilent products that enable customers to deliver trusted scientific and diagnostic outcomes.
Manufacturing Operations Support
Support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations by executing defined support activities in accordance with approved work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Assist manufacturing teams with production readiness, equipment availability, and operational continuity.
Support equipment setup, changeovers, and basic recovery activities in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and Maintenance teams.
Identify production or equipment issues, escalate appropriately, and support resolution through established processes.
Materials, Gas, and Chemical Operations
Perform safe handling, movement, staging, connection, disconnection, and installation of pressurized gas cylinders in compliance with Agilent EHS policies, site procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Handle, transport, and manage chemicals used in manufacturing and operational support activities, ensuring appropriate labeling, storage, transfer, and disposal per EHS and hazard communication standards.
Support materials handling activities, including receiving, stocking, issuing, and tracking of parts, consumables, tools, and production supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Documentation & Systems
Prepare, update, and maintain accurate operational records, safety logs, inspection documentation, and other required records in accordance with Agilent documentation and data integrity standards.
Enter, verify, and retrieve data in enterprise systems such as CMMS, or related manufacturing systems to support traceability, reporting, and compliance.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities by ensuring documentation accuracy and process adherence.
Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
Adhere to all Agilent EHS policies, including those related to chemical safety, pressurized gas systems, equipment safety, and personal protective equipment.
Participate in safety training, risk assessments, and site initiatives to promote a strong safety culture.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying inefficiencies, recommending procedural improvements, and supporting standardized work practices.
Shift hours: Monday through Friday - 2 pm - 1030 pm PACIFIC (may require weekends and overtime)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or operational processes in a regulated or industrial environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing operations, production workflows, and basic equipment or process support activities.
Working knowledge of quality systems, operational documentation, and compliance expectations.
Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to follow standardized processes and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical education, or specialized training in manufacturing, operations, industrial technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience handling pressurized gas cylinders and chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures.
Experience using ERP, manufacturing execution systems (MES), CMMS, or similar systems for data entry and operational tracking.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
