The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will establish and measure the effectiveness of facility performance, through KPIs established for the department. This includes analyzing and providing system-level solutions for the infrastructure of facilities, for the continuous improvement and growth of the business.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment, machinery and facilities (TPM).

  • Implementation of dashboard tools to improve efficiency and performance of equipment, machinery, and maintenance.

  • Coordination and monitoring of purchase, transfer, updating of equipment and machinery of all areas of the plant.

  • Coordinate and negotiate projects with external suppliers and contractors ensuring high quality and comply with contract obligations.

  • Identify and implement a certification program for all critical equipment in the plant.

  • Manage installation adhesion to LEED requirements.

  • Determine training for professional growth of your team.

  • Determine the capacity and talent required for the fulfillment of the activities related to the department.

  • Intermediary between Spellman and Leasing Agencies.

  • Determine the Annual budget of everything related to Facilities.

  • Involvement with the Multiple Business Insurance.

  • Comply with the Health, Safety and Environment Policy, following the procedures and work instructions applicable to his/her activities for the participation in the established Objectives and Goals.

Competences / abilities:

  • Minimum experience in a similar position for 5 years.

  • Mechanical, electrical, Industrial or Electromechanical Engineering / English.

  • Auto-Cad.

  • Knowledge of electrical installations and systems.

  • Knowledge of pneumatics and general mechanics.

  • Basic knowledge in electronics and electromechanics.

  • General knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and systems.

  • Skills to encourage teamwork and continuous improvement.

  • Familiar with environmental requirements, LEED, radiology.

  • Knowledge and understanding in Environmental & Quality Management Systems in their current versions (e.g. ISO 14001,9001).
