What We’re Looking For
If you’re a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual seeking growth opportunities and a team-oriented culture – YOU can be our next Mailroom Clerk in our Business Support Services Division. This position will be based out of our Burnaby Still Creek Head Office.
Requirements
Works effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Organized and detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean, professional work environment
Basic proficiency with MS Word and Outlook
Able to lift articles overhead up to 40 lbs, push mail carts, and move file boxes
Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
A Day in the Life
Sort, scan, and route incoming mail to appropriate departments
Sort incoming cheques and provide hard copies to appropriate staff members
Preparing Carrier Letters
Open, sort, and process incoming and outgoing Canada Post and ICS courier mail
Prepare bank deposits and post office letters
Provide receptionist relief: answer calls, process faxes and payments, manage incoming/outgoing couriers
Order and maintain office supplies
Maintain clean and tidy kitchen areas throughout the day
Participate in cross-training for various roles and other duties as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
