Job Summary
Essential Functions
· Learn and accurately perform all functions associated with sorting indicia mail to the lowest possible postal discount level, in accordance with USPS DMM/CSA regulations (5 digit, AADC, Mixed qualifications);
· Operate postal banding equipment and shrink wrap finishing machinery while organizing and separating mail according to mailing statements;
· Prepare postal pallets with proper strapping, placards, caps and wrap;
· Learn and understand how to use job manifests to identify and correct any sortation issues within individual mailings;
· Organize and deliver quality control flags to quality techs in a timely manner;
· Maintain sortation and quality logs based on mail sequencing;
· Sorters must maintain an equal volume of processing – based on 1st availability from inserters;
· Perform return mail function as available;
· Assist with meter operation as needed;
· Assist team with any task needed to ensure same-day SLA’s are met.

Required Qualifications For Position
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to maintain safety, efficiency and productivity in a high-production environment.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· This position requires significant standing, walking and repetitive motion.
· This position requires carrying or lifting objects up to 20 lbs. and pushing or pulling full pallets of mail.
· Ability to maintain accurate and legible records requiring basic math calculations.
· Motivated to participate in continuous improvement objective – including 2-Second Lean, individual growth and development, and personal accountability goals.
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
Physical Demands
Standing/moving for 8 hours, ability to lift 50lbs.

Salary Range*:
$35,400.00 - $49,600.00*The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
