The position is full-time day shift.

Education

• BLD – Bachelor’s Level Degree – Nursing

Certification/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Compact/Multi-State License OR
• Registered Nurse (RN) License - Single State – Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience

• 2 years’ nursing experience (required)
• 1 year nursing leadership experience (required)
• Previous ANCC Magnet Designation Experience (preferred)

Job summary

Will be responsible for professional practice (to included shared governance), Magnet® designation, nursing recognition, and serve at the NDNQI coordinator for the hospital. Will work closely with the Eastern Market Director, Nursing, Professional Practice, Education, and Magnet® for Magnet® document submission and interim reporting. Collaborates with nursing leaders on patient outcomes. Partners with key stakeholders to support achieving divisional goals and objectives.
